Parish Council Meetings

A Parish Council meeting is where the full council convene to discuss Council business and make decisions. They must legally be held at least once a year. Ixworth and Ixworth Thorpe Parish Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm. The public and press are invited to attend these meetings to observe, but are also welcome to speak during the public forum section. If you would like to speak at a meeting, our guide on how to do so can be found here

The Council year runs from May to April, starting with the Annual Parish Council Meeting where the Chairman for the coming year is elected.

This year's meeting dates are shown below and the agendas and minutes will be added when published. For agendas and minutes from previous years, please select from the list on the right hand side.

Unfortunately, sometimes due to unforeseen events a meeting may have to be cancelled or postponed. Notification of a cancelled or postponed meeting will be displayed on this website
